After graduating from Chicago’s esteemed school, The DePaul University’s School of Music Sam Fazio moved to Las Vegas where he became a regular at the classy Vegas clubs like Catch A Rising Star, performed at major Vegas venues including Bally’s MGM Grand and worked as a studio vocalist with groups like the Wayne Newton Band.

Feeling that he had “paid some dues” and that he really wanted to be more involved in a creative scene Sam moved back to Chicago with its vibrant jazz scene. He Immediately became involved in the jazz club world in Chicago where he began performing at the world renown Joe Segal’s Jazz Showcase and the ever popular European and Asian tourist hang, Andy’s Jazz Club. Along with these venues he has been performing at Illinois Arts Council sponsored events, Chicago and Suburban Chicago Street Festivals, and has a steady gig at Chicago’s famous hotel The Drake.

During this time Sam moved into the studio recording his first CD, “The Songs We Love”. Sam felt that doing these tunes would give him a strong foundation to build his next creative endeavors upon. His music is hip, elegant and bold. He puts a new spin on the songs you love.

He is already planning the next CD that will showcase originals and his growth while planning a gig at Feinstein’s in New York City. Blujazz Booking has begun to book Sam around the US in major venues while promoting his current CD.
